Gabriela Mistral
“Play, I don’t want to be quiet niche,” wrote our Nobel prize winner. And the cultural center that carries her name, keeps her legacy alive in infinite ways. In GAM, Mistral has been the protagonist of theater and dance pieces, as well as music shows. Her pedagogy has been taught through seminars and talks, and she has marched down Alameda, as one more citizen, to fight for gender equality.
